Out of the many, MANY cars I've driven and owned... this one is by far the most fun!

Also, VERY easy to tune... 200 HP/220 ftLb is easy with just a tune and an intake...

I very much enjoyed mine — both for driving on the open road and commuting into the city — until I had to trade it in for need of a third seat across the back for all those kids.

Well, rally cars generally don't have to worry about cars behind them, or the paint along the sides.

I put mudflaps on my STi once upon a time, and the biggest thing I noticed was that there was no longer a cloud of mist behind me when it rained.

I was wrong. The Abarths come with chrome ones, but the black it standard on the 500t. The black looks a lot better.

I smile every time I drive one! I came really close to pulling the trigger on one, they're definitely cool cars though I found the first gen (older new body?, however you're suppose to cite a newer recreation of an old car) Supercharged Mini Cooper S. With the John Cooper Works package, they're faster, and dynamically better. Mostly the Mini doesn't understeer as much. I ultimately settled on a Mini, but I do still admire the Abarth 500. The Abarth is cool in a way not many cars can be. If I had to buy a new car in it's price range, I wouldn't think about it for a second... Currently, this little thing is keeping my occasional FWD cravings and downtown visits satisfied. :)

Mine is a Pop, and we are in Southern California, so the coldest it's been in so far is about 45, so no, none of that. One of my co-workers just got an Abarth a couple of months ago though, I can ask him if his does that. If he says yes, I'll let you know.
